The prevalence of HIV and TB in Swaziland is the highest in the world. The impact of the dual epidemic on children and families has been devastating. Due to the high number of AIDS-related deaths, many children are forced to raise their siblings, missing out on school as a result.

SHAMBA works in local communities to help deliver early childhood education and development services for their most vulnerable children are 125,000 orphans; 25% of under 18s are AIDS orphans.

ABC Africa has provides a healthy breakfast for the children attending pre-school as well as good quality warm clothes, knitted jumpers and hats.

 

ABC Africa aims to support established grass roots and community projects to provide nutrition, medication and education to orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC) in the most disadvantaged regions
