Simply encourage those who have more than they need to give to those who need it the most<\/p>\n
ABC Africa wants to make a difference <\/b>to as many orphaned and vulnerable children as we can by simply and directly providing food, medication and education to orphaned and vulnerable children in Sub Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n
How does ABC Africa do it?<\/b><\/p>\n
ABC Africa supports communities and grass roots projects to feed, educate and provide health care for their children by:<\/p>\n
providing nutritious food through school feeding projects, school porridge clubs and food by prescription programmes<\/p>\n
providing medication and health prevention supplies<\/p>\n
providing school supplies, transport and tuition<\/p>\n
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child<\/b><\/p>\n
The goals of ABC Africa are based primarily on Articles 6, 24 and 28<\/p>\n
Article 6 (Survival and development): Children have the right to live. Governments should ensure that children survive and develop healthily.<\/p>\n
Article 24 (Health and health services): Children have the right to good quality health care, to safe drinking water, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help them stay healthy. Rich countries should help poorer countries achieve this.<\/p>\n
Article 28: (Right to education): All children have the right to a primary education, which should be free. Wealthy countries should help poorer countries achieve this right.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
